The Shift Leader supports the Restaurant Management Team by overseeing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring great guest experiences, and maintaining smooth, efficient store performance. This is a hands-on, working leadership rolethat requires performing crew-level tasks while guiding the team, upholding brand standards, and driving service excellence.




Pay Rate: up to $19



Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution

  • Lead shift operations to ensure consistent adherence to Dunkin' brand standards.
  • Work in all line positions(register, drive-thru, sandwich station, beverage station, prep, cleaning) to support the team and maintain speed of service.
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
  • Monitor product quality, equipment functionality, and overall store readiness.

Team Leadership

  • Direct and support crew members throughout the shift to maintain productivity and service standards.
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching, training reinforcement, and positive motivation.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members by modeling proper procedures and behaviors.
  • Help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.

Guest Experience

  • Model hospitality and friendly service at all times.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, stocked, and welcoming.

Shift Administration

  • Execute opening, mid-shift, or closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage cash handling, drawer counts, and safe drops according to policy.
  • Support inventory counts, waste tracking, and product rotation.
  • Communicate shift updates, issues, and needs to the management team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to perform all crew-level tasks, including food prep, beverage production, order taking, cleaning, and stocking.
