The Financial Administration Specialist is responsible for managing vendor contracts' financial administration practices and procedures. This entry-level role ensures contract compliance, reviews vendor charges, and supports financial management of outsourcing projects, contributing to the Vendor Relationship Management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review vendor charges, identify disparities, and resolve basic issues with service providers.
  • Monitor contract budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Allocate costs across the enterprise and perform regular audits for contract compliance.
  • Conduct cost benefit analyses to support business cases for vendor-supplied services.
  • Collaborate with the Vendor Relationship Management team to develop and gain approval for business cases.
  • Function under the general direction of senior-level professionals, supervisors, or managers.

Required Skills:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of financial management experience, preferably within the IT area.
  • Ability to work independently while following documented procedures and checklists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
