JOB DESCRIPTION:
Skills Desired:
Basic knowledge of Electronics - understanding of what/how/why.
• Entry level wire harness knowledge - Crimping, connector types, gauge, etc.
• Exposure to Linux/Shell environments.
• Someone that can learn quickly and expand in their knowledge.
Pluses:
• Automotive Trade school, equivalent training and/or experience.
• Automotive and/or electronics diagnostics experience.
• Basic Fabrication Skills - Cutting metal/wood, using power tools to make simple parts.
• Familiar with electronic design, oscilloscope usage, DMM measurements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Flexible and self-motivated technician to support Hardware Engineering.
Scope:
• Collaborate on & assemble test platforms - Create the "Stuff" that enables HW to be utilized in a lab.
Including but not limited to - Fixturing, wiring, cooling.
• Design/assemble wire harnesses.
• Capture, escalate, & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms.
