The Music Publishing Business and Royalty Operations team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, accruals, and royalty payments, supporting the songwriters, publishers, screenwriters, directors and many other roles in media who help make film, TV and music possible. These are foundational systems at the core of Apple’s royalty payments landscape. The team leads global enterprise initiatives that simplify complex technical details for legal, business, and commercial teams while translating pivotal strategic new product initiatives into clear, actionable requirements for engineering partners.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, someone with a strong blend of technical expertise, business intelligence, and user-centered design thinking. This role requires deep product intuition, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex operational needs into scalable, elegant systems.
As an Individual Contributor Product Manager supporting Apple TV royalty processes, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Publishing Operations, Legal, Finance, Commercial Development and other video teams. There will be involvement in multiple high impact initiatives including business expansion, process automation, compliance, and cost efficiency improvements. Success in this role demands critical thinking and working in a fast-paced environment where proactive communication and attention to detail are essential.","responsibilities":"Own the Apple TV Music Publishing product roadmap from ideation through execution-identifying current and future business needs, proposing prioritized solutions, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear product requirements, including documentation, workflows, process diagrams, and user stories, leveraging both traditional product management skills with AI tools and methods.
Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop user friendly, scalable solutions that solve key business challenges.
Leverage LLM’s and other GenAI tools to support building usable prototypes and iterate through requirements, design, testing, and product validation.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in music rights management with streaming and transactional video services.
Familiarity with agile and waterfall software development methodologies.
Competency with parsing JSON, writing SQL, defining and testing RESTful APIs.
Ability to handle large data files using UNIX commands, shell scripts.
Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and/or finance experience with payment processing.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience driving technical and financial product requirements and leading implementations across large organizations.
Proficient in defining technical product requirements, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
Outstanding ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes leveraging design tools e.g. Sketch, Figma, Claude Code.
Proven ability of using different AI tools for data analysis, dashboard creation and automation of business processes.
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles to deliver intuitive, efficient user experiences.
Ability to interpret and review system architecture and data models.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
