Job description


Responsibilities

• Calls on assigned accounts in order to communicate sales promotions and merchandising information to customers.

• Set up plan-o-gram execution including stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating the product also, rearranging shelving, moving product off shelves, pulling shelving out of refrigerated doors, cleaning shelves, and re-stock products back onto shelves.

• Ensure that product displays look professional and appealing, ie; merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.

• Reset displays and report any problems/opportunities with products and/or displays.

• Negotiate for additional shelf space and promotional space.

• Conducts store surveys and market analyses in order to better understand and test customer responses to given products and markets.

• Conduct store survey and market analysis in order to capture the condition of display at the time of arrival for the purpose of recognizing areas to maximize sales.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Recommended minimum 3 years of related merchandising experience in the field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and conscientious.

• Computer experience in Microsoft Office is required.

• Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights).

• Minimum age: 18

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.


Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:

• Must have a valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.


Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Position requires lifting (up to 50 pounds), reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, fine hand manipulation, stacking/unstack from height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back.

• Extensive driving will be required to service the customer base.

• Required to work in very hot (100+ degree) and very cool (less than 32 degree) environments throughout the year.

• Required to work outside, in whatever the conditions are, most of the time.
