Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Shift: 1st
Pay: $17 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Toaster Sheeter to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to monitor the sheeting and toasting process of the masa and perform weight-checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure the proper consistency of the product in a timely manner. You will be responsible for operating the toaster oven and sheeter that cuts the chips. Use tools to change bands when they break, adjust the settings on the machines, go up and down stairs to check weights on a scale and complete paperwork reflecting the weights.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Toaster Sheeter, your core responsibilities will include:
Set up and start the sheeter machine.
Adjust banding on the machine as needed.
Adjust toaster/fryer controls.

In addition, you will also be expected to follow GMP standards and other duties as assigned. Perform product quality checks, maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
Experience in food manufacturing preferred, 1-3 months related experience required.
Must have knowledge and experience with a weight scale.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs max.

Skills:
Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
Must be able to do basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiply).
Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
