Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, bending, forming, and fabricating sheet metal parts and assemblies to specification. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in working with fabrication equipment, including laser cutting machines.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Operate fabrication machinery including shears, brakes, and laser cutting machines.
  • Perform precise measuring, layout, and cutting of sheet metal materials.
  • Bend and form sheet metal components to meet job specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience required.
  • Proven experience with shearing, bending, and forming sheet metal.
  • Experience and working knowledge of laser cutting machines.
  • Some MIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
