Sheet Metal Duct Shop Fabricator:

We have a full operating sheet metal fabrication shop. We fabricate duct work for commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Plasma to cut 5'x10' sheets of metal.
  • Operate machines to cut, shape, and form sheet metal including roller, rotodie, shear, punch press, hand brake, weighting machine, plasma cutters, and more.
  • Drill and punch holes in metal, for electrical components, screws, bolts, or rivets.
  • Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
  • Trim, file, grind, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools.
  • Finish parts, using hacksaws, and hand, rotary, or squaring shears.
  • Develop and lay out patterns that use materials most efficiently.
  • Insulate ductwork using glue & pinspotter.
  • Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary.

Sheet Metal Duct Installer (Tin knockers) Position:

Responsibilities:

  • · Installation of a variety of Commercial HVAC equipment
  • · Installation of a variety of HVAC DUCTWORK (round, spiral, rectangular)
  • · Sheet metal Fabrication in the field as necessary.
  • · Responsible for sheet metal measurements, sketching and ordering ductwork.

Requirements:

  • · Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • · To have a basic understanding of central air conditioning systems
  • · Should be reliable, self-motivated, have the ability and knowledge to read specifications and Shop Drawings.
  • · Should possess good communication skills
  • · Must be able to maintain a safe work area
  • · Should also have a flexible attitude and should be willing to travel at any given point of time

HVAC Service Mechanic Position:

Responsibilities:

· Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

· Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements

· Perform routine preventative maintenance

· Respond to emergency maintenance requests

· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

· Responsible for the installation of large mini-split systems, including refrigeration piping, pipe insulation, and control wiring

· Perform start-up of newly installed HVAC systems

· Perform Service repairs and troubleshooting diagnostics to existing HVAC systems

· Perform in the field using related experience and knowledge of codes and specifications.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields (minimum of 5 years prior experience)

· Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Run Refrigeration piping

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

· Qualified individuals most possess a full-range of mechanical knowledge

· Ability to Navigate NYC Subway Systems

Delivery Driver:

  • Looking for a driver to deliver Duct work and material to job sites daily.
  • When not making deliveries, driver will help fabricate duct work

Education

· Technical trade school diploma and training certificate is a plus

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial HVAC application and Ductwork installation

  • Helpers Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial and or Residential

· OSHA 30 hours
