Job description

Hospitalist Physician

Texas | 1099 Opportunity | Housing Covered | Residents Welcome

She Recruits is partnering with a well-supported Level III acute care hospital in Texas to recruit Hospitalist Physicians for a 1099-only opportunity.

This is one of the few programs that will accept Residents, making it an excellent transition role for new graduates seeking strong compensation, structured support, and full housing coverage.

Compensation

Day Shift (7a–7p): $2,000 per shift
Night Shift (7p–7a): $2,300 per shift

10 shifts per month = Full-Time Equivalent

Estimated Monthly Gross:

  • Days only: ~$20,000/month
  • Nights only: ~$23,000/month

✔ 1099 Opportunity Only
✔ Housing fully covered at no cost to the physician
✔ Optional insurance plan available

Schedule Structure

12-hour shifts

Day Coverage:

  • 2 MDs + 2 APPs

Night Coverage:

  • 1 MD or 1 APP

Discharge Navigator:

  • Dedicated APP support during daytime hours

Physicians must remain onsite for entire shift.

  • ~18 encounters per clinician per day
  • EMR: MedHost
  • Open ICU with Pulmonary/Critical Care consult availability
  • Teleneurology support
  • Strong subspecialty coverage

Physicians respond to Code Blue.
No procedures required.

Requirements
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • ACLS & BLS required
  • Texas license or eligibility
  • Residents encouraged to apply
