Job description

DESCRIPTION
Kona Ice of Bend and Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Bend is looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our daily operations and special events program. This position will also help support Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Bend.
The Operations Coordinator helps ensure our trucks, kiosks, warehouse, inventory, events, and team members are ready for successful service. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays calm while solving problems, takes ownership of responsibilities, and enjoys helping others succeed.
This position is designed as a development opportunity toward the Assistant Operations Manager role.
Current Event KREW members and Event Drivers are encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Manage daily operations to keep Kona and Tom's routes and service running fast and smooth.
  • Coordinate schedules for part-time and full-time staff to ensure the right coverage every shift.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and guests to deliver an awesome customer experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and equipment to prevent shortages and keep the ice flowing.
  • Track event details and locations, confirming timing, setup needs, and service expectations.
  • Support hiring and onboarding by helping coordinate training for new team members.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally, keeping service on track under pressure.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for schedules, attendance, and supplies.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines to meet restaurant standards.
  • Be flexible with evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts to match the needs of the business.
