About Hospitality Purveyors International

Hospitality Purveyors International (HPI) is the exclusive design and procurement arm for all Sandals and Beaches Resorts International properties which are wholly owned and managed resorts.

About the Position:

The core functions and responsibilities of the Warehouse Agent are performing Housekeeping, warehouse operations and activities including preparing and completing orders for delivery and pick up according to schedules, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, storing materials, and conducting warehouse inventory while complying with procedures and quality standards.

Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:

·      Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.

·      Data entry skills.

·      Inventory control. (ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply)

·      Proficient in MHE (Material Handling Equipment)

·      Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail and problem-solving.

·      Ability to work independently and handle multiple activities.

·      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to collaborate with management, co-workers.

·      Ability to work in a fast fast-paced environment continually assessing priorities.

·      Ability to take proper instructions assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

·      Ability to collaborate with co-workers and portray strong teamwork skills.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Receiving and documenting merchandise for the physical count.

·      Ensure inventory of all merchandise is stored in the proper locations in the warehouse.

·      Ensure all merchandise is packed labeled and ready for loading and shipping.

·      Ensure products are shipped to the right destination with the proper documentation.

·      Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.

·      Ensure all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.

·      Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

·      Warehouse Housekeeping

Other Key Priorities:

·      Reports to Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.

·      Operates powered industrial machinery with ease.

·      Operates scanners to keep track of the items being moved.

·      Checks for damaged goods. Staying alert and aware of possible hazards.

·      Ensure the warehouse and work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe.

·      Connecting to Charger forklift and other equipment.

·      Ensure all tasks, duties, and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Manager related to the warehouse policy and procedures are followed accordingly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Reach with hands and arm and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
  • Regular lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lfi and/or move 50 pounds by hand.

Certifications and Licenses:

·         Forklift License

·         Hazmat Certification

·         Other Professional certifications and/or Licenses may be required in some areas.
