Position Summary

We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. As a RN/LPN at Allure of Pinecrest, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing assistants and ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with Illinois Nurse Practice Act and facility policies

  • Assess residents and identify changes in condition

  • Notify physicians and appropriate team members of significant clinical changes

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions

  • Complete thorough nursing assessments and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Process and implement physician orders accurately

  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Participate in MDS assessments and interdisciplinary care planning

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapy, hospice, pharmacy, dietary, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

  • Promote resident safety through fall prevention and infection control practices

  • Monitor nutrition, hydration, pain management, skin integrity, and wound care

  • Collect laboratory specimens as ordered

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program

  • Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing

  • Current CPR certification

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift

  • Lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds

  • Assist with resident transfers and emergency evacuations

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion

Pay & Bonuses
