Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of robust SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint development technologies and a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and best practices. This role requires strong leadership skills to mentor junior developers while managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance SharePoint solutions using technologies such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint
  • Designer, SharePoint Add-ins, and SharePoint REST API. 
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and management of SharePoint environments, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices. 
  • Architect SharePoint solutions that meet business requirements, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience. 
  • Integration of AI tools into the software development life cycle. 
  • Customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and pages to align with organizational needs and improve user engagement. 
  • Identify and resolve complex technical problems quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing projects. 
  • Troubleshoot issues and debug code efficiently, employing best practices to maintain high-quality solutions. 
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team skills and productivity. 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of SharePoint projects. 
  • Lead project planning, estimation, and tracking efforts using agile development methodologies, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field and 7+ years of SharePoint development experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.  
  • Active DoD Secret clearance at minimum – required. 
  • Experience within the DHA theater – highly preferred. 
  • Proficient in SharePoint development technologies, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Add-ins, SharePoint REST API, and PowerShell. 
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and infrastructure, including SharePoint farm topology, service applications, web applications, and content databases. 
  • Proven experience designing performant and scalable SharePoint solutions that adhere to best practices. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues. 
  • Demonstrated experience customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and pages to meet business needs. 
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior developers and guiding teams through technical challenges. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, demonstrating excellent organizational skills. 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and leading project planning, estimation, and tracking efforts. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
