As an IT Project Manager, Senior Specialist in the Bank and Trust Services Portfolio Management team you will be responsible for managing and delivering initiatives that introduce, improve, or support capabilities within the bank and trust services organization.
You will play a key role in driving complex, business-critical technology programs that enhance internal operations and improve the delivery of products and services. You will lead programs from initiation through implementation, partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across business and technology functions to deliver outcomes that align with strategic priorities. In this role, you will balance project oversight, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and execution while ensuring initiatives remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned to organizational objectives.
Success in this role requires strong project management capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while making sound decisions. You will collaborate with diverse teams to define priorities, coordinate resources, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams. By identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing effective solutions, you will help strengthen operational efficiency, enhance stakeholder experiences, and contribute to long-term business success. What you have
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of project management experience leading small to medium-scale projects in product development, technology, systems implementation, or related environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience utilizing project management tools and artifacts, including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Rally, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, project budgets, status reporting, and change management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and successfully deliver projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Proven project leadership skills with the ability to mobilize teams, facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve conflict, and drive accountability for commitments and outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify risks, analyze root causes, make informed decisions, and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across varying levels of the organization.
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, or fintech environments.
