This position is responsible for leading the analysis, configuration, and hands-on delivery of application systems and digital solutions that meet the operational needs of users and stakeholders. This team member serves as the primary technical resource for artificial intelligence tools, SharePoint, and Power Automate workflows, building and maintaining solutions that automate processes, improve information management, and support day-to-day business operations. This role collaborates closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure systems are reliable, well-documented, and aligned with user needs.

General Systems

  • Gather, analyze, and document software requirements from stakeholders and users.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications to guide development efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system goals and deliverables.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes.
  • Assist in the design and testing of software applications to ensure quality and performance.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Artificial Intelligence

  • Work with business users to understand manual or repetitive tasks and implement AI-assisted automation that reduces effort and improves accuracy.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows, applications, and Power Automate solutions, ensuring outputs are validated and fit for use.
  • Evaluate the performance of deployed AI tools, identify issues or inaccuracies, and make configuration adjustments to improve results.
  • Assist in the piloting and testing of new AI features, documenting outcomes and practical findings.
  • Prepare and maintain user guides, configuration documentation, and training materials for AI-enabled tools and solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to end users working with AI tools, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Monitor AI solution usage and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and expanded application.

SharePoint

  • Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online team sites, communication sites, hub sites, document libraries, and list-based applications that meet business requirements.
  • Gather requirements from business units and deliver SharePoint solutions that improve how teams organize, find, and manage information.
  • Monitor SharePoint environment health, storage utilization, and usage metrics, escalating issues and performing routine maintenance as needed.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and day-to-day support to business owners, site administrators, and general users.

Power Automate

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows that automate business processes.
  • Meet with business users to document current-state processes, identify automation opportunities, and gather requirements for Power Automate solutions.
  • Test automation solutions thoroughly before deployment, including error handling validation, edge case testing, and user acceptance confirmation.
  • Provide training and how-to documentation to business users and support adoption of self-service automation within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Designing and optimizing complex systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to think strategically and handle conflict resolution
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization and negotiate and influence business partners
  • Experience gathering business process requirements and translating them into working solutions
  • Proficient in applying AI tools and capabilities to automate tasks and solve practical business problems
  • Experience building and testing AI-assisted solutions, including prompt design, workflow integration, and output validation
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online administration including site collection management, permissions, content types, metadata, and document library configuration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Automate including design, development, testing, and maintenance of cloud flows and desktop flows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Major in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar technical degree
  • Project management skills
  • Natural gas industry experience
  • Hands-on experience integrating automation solutions into production business workflows
  • Experience with Power Automate Desktop for automating legacy or desktop-based business processes

A valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy are required.
