Job description

Title: SharePoint Developer
Location: Atlanta / Metro Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Pay Rate Range: $45 to $50/hr

Job Summary
The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint Foundation-based applications. This role involves both back-end SharePoint development and front-end configuration, along with site administration, workflow implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing application maintenance.
The developer will work closely with Department of Revenue business stakeholders and IT teams to analyse business requirements, develop solutions, and support existing SharePoint environments.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint Foundation-based applications.
  • Perform back-end SharePoint development and front-end SharePoint configurations.
  • Work with SharePoint-based COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) applications.
  • Analyse business requirements and design software solutions.
  • Develop, test, debug, and deploy SharePoint applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Foundation components.
  • Implement SharePoint Foundation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint application issues.
  • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions.
  • Create technical documentation including:
    • Flowcharts
    • Layouts
    • Diagrams
    • Code documentation
    • Technical specifications
  • Protect confidential information and maintain system security.
