Job description

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Annapolis Junction, Md.
Clearance: TS/SCI
VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer. The Developer will design, customize, and debug workflows (automate business processes), web sites, web parts, form and list/library, and other custom applications and/or tools using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft.NET, HTML etc.). The Developer will also administer, configure, design, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot the SharePoint environment (MS SharePoint versions 2016/2019).
Duties
 
  • Update metadata terms systematically, as required Create forms to capture and store information in an effective, efficient, and economical manner in accordance with published regulations and guidance.
  • Perform SharePoint customization, integration, and upgrades into the engineering, test and production environments in accordance with Configuration Management, Change Management and Security policies and processes.
  • Make recommendations and perform installations of new major releases, product updates, hot fixes and service packs. Install and test recommendations as required.
  • Customize and implement tools and capabilities to include Dashboards, Web sites, Employee Library, and Reports for SharePoint
  • Maintain Managed File Share (MFS) in accordance with approved SOPs.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:
  • Requires Min 12 years with BS/BA, Min 10 years with MS/MA, Min 7 years with PhD
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of SharePoint Server engineering experience.
  • Proven experience with workflow design, web site design, web part design, list/library engineering and debugging using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft.net, HTML).
  • Current ITIL Foundations certification.
