Job description

Job Summary:
Global Pharma Tek is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining IT solutions, specifically for SharePoint, while ensuring compliance with business rules and best practices.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Participate in project review meetings and project workgroups.
โ€ข Design and document IT solutions.
โ€ข Design solutions for a specific application need.
โ€ข Develop software code based on design.
โ€ข Code to Standards and Best Practices
โ€ข Create, update, and maintain systemsโ€™ and IT programsโ€™ documentation, including system specs and flow diagrams.
โ€ข Monitor status and progress of the teamโ€™s work requests and help desk tickets.
โ€ข Maintain consistent availability (excepting breaks and lunch) to the clients/customers (e.g. e-mail and TEAMS) during client working hours.
โ€ข Test the system and associated design to ensure compliance with the business rules which govern the system.
โ€ข Maintain and upgrade systems because of tool/environment upgrades.
โ€ข Provide defect tracking log entry information.
โ€ข Document identified problems and analyze to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
โ€ข Produce Local Change Board documents.
โ€ข Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute change management.
โ€ข Work with vendors who provide IT solutions.
โ€ข Represent DTMB as a technical resource at meetings.
โ€ข Work with other DTMB team members when tasks call for a cross-team solution.
โ€ข Perform assigned tasks for internal/external security and standards review and development.
โ€ข Identify potential impacts of changes.
โ€ข Research, test, and recommend new development tools, languages, upgrades, and equipment as directed by senior team members.
โ€ข Apply Agile development methodologies to support SharePoint and application development and maintenance.
โ€ข While meeting with staff and users, assist with requirements gathering and documentation for SharePoint sites.
โ€ข Working with the business client/Business Analyst/tech leads creating test scenarios.
โ€ข Design and develop test plans.
โ€ข Assist in documenting testing results for applications.
โ€ข Provide SharePoint training and assistance to division staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Experience with SharePoint 4-6 years.
โ€ข Knowledge and/or experience in systems development life cycle and gathering business requirements.
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively using both verbal, non-verbal and written methods.
โ€ข Ability to communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience.
โ€ข Ability to effectively work independently or with a software development team, make decisions related to assigned tasks, analyze business requirements, create design specifications, and construct and test SharePoint sites.
โ€ข Ability to apply time management skills to workload.
โ€ข Ability to provide quality customer service, build trust through integrity of work, and build strategic relationships through teamwork are required.
โ€ข Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and conduct correspondence related to the work.
โ€ข Working knowledge of MS Office 365 Suite.
Preferred:
โ€ข Knowledge and/or experience in Azure DevOps, Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, SQL, or Linux is desirable, but not required.
