Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer is mainly responsible for developing information systems by studying operations; designing, developing, and installing software solutions; supports and develops software team.


Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Develop, design and manage web content, customizations, forms, and custom work flow in SharePoint 2013/Office 365

Develop SharePoint ribbon, custom lists, sites, subsites, and document libraries (understanding of taxonomy and SharePoint Best Practices is vital)

Develop various automated forms, specialized Web Parts, and complex process work flows

Qualifications

3 years or more of experience in mobile application development and/or web application development

At least 5 years of experience developing web front-end SharePoint applications using Info Path, as well as HTML, CSS, Java Script, ASP.net, AJAX, and XML-parsing, and XSLT - including working within SharePoint Designer.

Experience as .net developer in C#.

Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented language such as Objective C, C#

Experience with 3rd party tools such as CorsaWorks, Bamboo, Kendo, SPWidgets, and SP Services Codeplex a plus.

In-depth understanding of the SharePoint development life cycle as well as SharePoint capabilities such as Document Center, Records Center, Excel, Visio and Access Services, and Master pages development.

Experience troubleshooting web based application issues and advanced SharePoint work flows, forms, and web parts

Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology focus preferred

Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and apply customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations, understanding potential impacts of requirements, and the ability to make and defend logical decisions

3 years or more of experience in mobile application development and/or web application development

Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, problem solving, and business requirements analysis

Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail

Team player who is self-motivated and well organized

Must be proactive and be a logical thinker.

Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and use technical & creative problem solving.
