Title: SharePoint Developer
Location: Altamonte Springs, FL
DIRECT HIRE Or Contract to Hire
Salary: On Experience
• Design and develop SharePoint 2010 sites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
• Assist in the development and maintenance of custom SharePoint solutions and ensure best practices for development are implemented
• Utilize strong analysis, project planning and estimation skills to determine level of effort needed for project delivery
• Code web pages utilizing CSS and XHTML and programming languages including JavaScript, SQL and PHP and combinations of languages for instance AJAX.
• Interact with client MIS groups ensuring customer requirements are managed correctly
• Work with various database systems including MySQL, and SQL Server and frameworks including ADO and ODBC.
• Analyze, review and modify web systems by designing, maintaining, documenting, testing, developing and monitoring
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• At least a 2-year degree, preferably a 4-year in a computer-related field (computer science/programming)
• Microsoft certifications in SharePoint development and desire to stay updated on current and new technologies
• Familiarity with a variety of development frameworks with preferred experience in .Net, Silverlight and Java technologies
• Knowledge of ASP, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML and XHTML and knowledge of common programming languages including .Net, XML and PHP
• Good database knowledge especially MySQL and good understanding of major operating systems
• Ability to multitask and strong time management and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with offshore development resources, coupled with strong attention to detail
