Job Description
HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining SharePoint systems.
  • Supports system operations and services.
  • Creates and manages sites.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.
  • Trains and supports business users.
  • Researches and resolves access issues.
  • Plans, directs and executes system upgrades and design changes.

Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint farm administration experience with SharePoint Server (2016, 2019, or Subscription Edition) and SharePoint Online hybrid environments.
  • Experience designing and managing multi-tier SharePoint farms, including Web Front Ends, Application Servers, Database Servers, and Service Applications.
  • Strong understanding of DoD security standards, access controls, and compliance requirements for enterprise SharePoint deployments
  • Active TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain a CI Poly

Preferred Requirements
Desired certifications or training: Formal SharePoint training or certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate, SharePoint Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Collaboration/SharePoint. Formal training in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, or network administration.
Desired experience: Previous experience with monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting SharePoint farm performance, search indexing, and service applications. Experience with SharePoint disaster recovery planning, patching strategies, and upgrade management.
