SharePoint Administrator

Location: Suitland, MD
Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our team in Suitland, MD, supporting a critical intelligence mission for our Navy customer. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of forward thinking, highly motivated professionals where your SharePoint expertise will help enable secure, reliable access to mission essential information.

In this role, you will administer and support SharePoint environments across multiple classified networks, helping ensure systems remain secure, available, and optimized for the teams that rely on them. You’ll collaborate with government customers and IT professionals to improve data organization, streamline workflows, resolve technical challenges, and support seamless operations across domains.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and optimize SharePoint site collections and subsites across multiple classified networks.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, including system, database, and SharePoint administrators, on configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and site management.

  • Develop and manage subsites, lists, libraries, and workflows to improve data structure and operability in support of mission critical objectives.

  • Partner with government customers to document requirements, define project scope, and estimate delivery timelines.

  • Design custom functions, workflows, forms, and reports using SharePoint Designer, Crow Canyon, Office 365 Power Platform, and other approved tools.

  • Maintain documentation and continuity books to support established tasks and procedures.

  • Help ensure high availability and optimal performance by monitoring and resolving issues affecting servers, systems, applications, and operating environments.

  • Manage communications across multiple domains to facilitate seamless collaboration between external users and internal customer teams.

  • Implement and enforce security policies to ensure managed site collections comply with customer security standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience, certifications, and training may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of offer acceptance.
  • 3+ years of experience in information systems management with a focus on SharePoint administration, cloud technologies, and database construction.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and/or Dataverse and Active Directory Federated Services.
  • Administer, maintain, and support on-premises SharePoint Server environments, including server configuration, service applications, web applications, site collections, and farm-level components.
  • Perform routine SharePoint Server maintenance, patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting to ensure system availability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Modern Work and Copilot.
  • Advanced understanding of machine learning and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office products.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office 365 certification is a plus.
