Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced Excel expertise (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas; experience building/testing macros preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Download, format, import, and analyze commission reports from multiple insurance carriers
  • Process commission data within internal payment systems
  • Verify and supply financial data for accurate commission payments
  • Identify discrepancies, payment issues, and data inconsistencies
  • Communicate with Accounting, Contracting, and carriers to resolve commission questions
  • Assist Finance with accounts payable and payroll support as needed
  • Reconcile chargebacks, marketing assistance balances, and 1099 tax status setups
  • Perform manual commission calculations when required
  • Escalate and resolve commission issues efficiently
  • Complete special projects and leadership requests
  • Continuously support NCCs value proposition for agents and internal teams
  • Collaborate across NCC and SFG to improve processes and cross-train team members


Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree (AS) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in finance, accounting, or insurance carrier contracting
  • Advanced-level Excel proficiency
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Strong computer and internet proficiency
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience with virtual meeting and training platforms (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
  • Strong business and financial data acumen
  • Auditing experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in data analytics, finance, business, accounting, or related field
  • Experience with AI tools
  • Knowledge of insurance commissions and the carrieragent ecosystem

  • Experience with an FMO or insurance carrier
