Role Title: Technical Architect - Salesforce (Sales, Service & FSC)
Role Summary
The Technical Architect will provide technical leadership for a large-scale Salesforce consolidation program involving the integration of two Salesforce environments. The role will focus on aligning and refactoring Salesforce CRM capabilities while ensuring consistency with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data models and configurations.
The architect will act as a bridge between architecture and engineering teams, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery and consistent platform design across the consolidated Salesforce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Alignment & Design Governance
  • Align development with defined solution architecture and platform standards
  • Interpret high-level designs and translate them into implementable solutions
  • Identify design gaps, dependencies, and technical risks

Salesforce CRM & FSC Alignment
  • Ensure alignment of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud capabilities across consolidated environments
  • Support harmonization of core CRM processes (Accounts, Opportunities, Cases, Activities, etc.)
  • Align FSC data model elements (e.g., Accounts, Relationships, Financial Accounts) with core CRM objects
  • Ensure consistent use of FSC components alongside Sales and Service Cloud features
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between existing CRM configurations and FSC constructs
  • Support adoption of FSC best practices where applicable without impacting core CRM functionality

Technical Leadership & Code Governance
  • Provide technical direction to developers and technical leads
  • Review and approve technical designs, code, and configurations
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards

Refactoring & Optimization
  • Define approach for refactoring Apex, Lightning components, and automation
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization
  • Address governor limits, bulkification, and query optimization

Integration Alignment
  • Ensure Salesforce configurations align with integration patterns
  • Validate API endpoints, authentication mechanisms, and data flows
  • Support integration troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ensure Salesforce configurations align with MuleSoft-based ETL and data migration processes
  • Validate data mappings, API endpoints, and data flow dependencies between Salesforce and MuleSoft
  • Support troubleshooting of data-related issues during migration and testing phases

Release & Environment Strategy
  • Support release planning and deployment strategy
  • Ensure consistency across Dev, QA, and Production environments
  • Leverage AutoRABIT CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation and version control
  • Validate release readiness and deployment quality across environments

Testing Support & Defect Resolution
  • Support root cause analysis during SIT and UAT cycles
  • Provide solutions for complex defects and edge cases
  • Ensure stability during mock runs and go-live

Required Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
    • Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows
    • Salesforce platform architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including:
    • FSC data model (Accounts, Relationships, Financial Accounts)
    • FSC configuration and extension
  • Experience in Salesforce org consolidation, migration, or transformation programs
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as AutoRABIT (or equivalent Salesforce DevOps tools)
  • Understanding of data migration/ETL processes using MuleSoft or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Data modeling
    • Integration patterns (REST APIs, middleware)
    • Performance optimization and governor limits
  • Experience working in multi-team / collaborative delivery environments
