Job description

Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking a Summer Camp Director in San Francisco to lead daily operations at our West Sunset and Balboa Park locations.
This is a high-level leadership role responsible for staff supervision, camper safety, parent communication, and full program execution. The Summer Camp Director is the on-site decision maker and ensures camp runs safely, smoothly, and professionally every day.
What You'll Lead:
  • Oversee all camp operations and staff performance
  • Execute the SF Giants Baseball Camps curriculum with excellence
  • Maintain a safe and structured environment for campers ages 4-13
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of instructors
  • Communicate with families and handle daily logistics
  • Represent the Giants brand with professionalism and integrity
Ideal Background:
  • Experience leading youth programs or sports camps
  • Background in baseball and/or softball (playing or coaching)
  • Strong organizational and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously
  • High character, high energy, and highly dependable
Commitment:
  • 10 weeks (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Monday-Friday, approx. 8 hours/day
  • Must pass background screening
  • Comfortable driving a rented camp van if required
Compensation:
$1,400-$1,650 per week based on experience
