This respected 40-bed hospital is noted in the region for extraordinarily low infection and readmission rates and regularly earns high marks in patient satisfaction. Most major specialties are available and hosts an ICU with Virtual Critical Care. In addition, the hospital offers a full complement of diagnostic and medical services.

This facility receives victims of car crashes along heavily traveled nearby Interstates 79 and 80. In 2014, the Emergency Department earned accreditation as a Level IV Trauma Center, only the second hospital in the commonwealth to achieve the new designation.

ED Volume: 17,000

  • Trauma Designation: Level IV
  • ED Beds: 7 Beds, 5 Vertical
  • Staffing Model:
    • Single Physician coverage (8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.)
    • APP coverage with 8-hour shifts 7 days per week
  • EMR: Epic with Abridge AI for ambient generative AI documentation
  • Moderate to high acuity with broad pathology that includes trauma
  • Well-equipped department with ED ultrasound available
  • Most major specialties including cath lab and orthopedic surgery
