Are you a compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, student-centered environment? At Atterbury Job Corps, our LPNs provide the preventative and emergency health services students need to stay healthy, safe, and on track - while helping guide them toward the right medical, mental health, and dental care.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide preventative and emergency health services and wellness education to students
  • Evaluate, determine, and recommend appropriate medical, mental health, and dental services for the student population
  • Assist the Wellness Director in coordinating medical, mental, and dental services for students
  • Administer medications and maintain medical records in compliance with local and federal guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws regarding patient privacy and medical record maintenance
  • Assist in conducting cursory medical examinations as allowed by state practice law
  • Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care, and other wellness services as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary Wellness Services environment

WHAT YOU BRING
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • LPN Certification from an accredited program (required)
  • Valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN (required)
  • Minimum of one year of health care experience (preferred)
  • Regional Approval required
