Job description

Description
This is a temporary role with strong potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance. You'll be on the ground every day, directly overseeing our third-party janitorial vendor across manufacturing facilities, ensuring work is done right, on time, and to company standards. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn't afraid to hold vendors accountable, and takes pride in keeping world-class facilities running cleanly and efficiently.
Pay $35 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for our third-party janitorial vendor, communicating daily priorities, expectations, and performance standards
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs across facilities to inspect work quality, identify gaps, and drive immediate corrective action with the vendor
  • Monitor vendor staff task assignments and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage across all areas and shifts
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and hold the vendor accountable to service-level expectations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and facility managers to address emerging needs and ensure janitorial services align with site operations
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and working with the vendor to implement standardized solutions

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in janitorial or hospitality services
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience, with a track record of holding teams and vendors accountable
  • Strong communication skills - able to clearly direct vendor teams, escalate issues, and report out to internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities across multiple sites
  • A demonstrated ability to take initiative, adapt quickly, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
