Job description

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and nurturing summer nanny for our two daughters, ages 8 and 6 from about June 1 to mid August. Our girls are creative and fun-loving โ€” equally happy with crafts, sewing, and engineering kits as they are with scooter rides, trampoline parks, and playgrounds. This is a full-time weekday position running approximately 8:30am to 4:30pm. Light household duties include kids' meals, tidying, and laundry. Parents occasionally work from home. Our girls attend various summer camps, so reliable transportation and punctuality are essential โ€” a family vehicle can be made available. When camp is out, we need someone who takes initiative planning activities at home, at the park, or around town. We also have a sweet, small, 14-year-old dog who sleeps a lot. The ideal candidate loves kids, brings positive energy, and drives safely and comfortably.

Qualifications

  • A love of working with children
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Passion for helping others
