Job description

QUALITY CONTROL: WHERE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Lead, this role supports quality control for garments produced in the Screenprint department at our Longmont location. You will inspect finished garments, communicate when product needs to be corrected or redone, and help ensure orders are accurate, clean, counted, folded, labeled, boxed, and ready for shipping.

This is a hands-on production role for someone who has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in quality, and enjoys steady, team-based work. Sewing machine experience is required for sewing labels on garments as needed.

PAY + SCHEDULE

Location: Longmont, CO. This is a full-time, onsite role.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Pay: $17.00 per hour.

Growth: This role can build skills in garment inspection, screenprint quality standards, order accuracy, shipping preparation, sewing support, and production workflow. Advancement opportunities vary by department and business need.

A TYPICAL DAY

  • Inspect finished Screenprint garments for correct ink colors, logo placement, labels, sewing details, and general flaws.
  • Maintain Lakeshirts quality standards and communicate with teammates when garments need correction or redo.
  • Sort, count, fold, tag, label, box, and record garments by size, color, style, and quantity for shipping.
  • Read work orders and profiles to ensure each account is processed correctly.
  • Use computer programs, tablets, and Excel to access order profiles andrequired garment steps.
  • Use sewing machine experience to sew labels on garments as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe while following OSHA standards.
  • Work actively with others to meet team goals and perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS

  • Sewing machine experiencerequired.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but notrequired.
  • Basic computer experiencerequired, including Excel, Word, or tablet use.
  • Keen eye for detail, quality-focused, meticulous, and self-motivated.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

FREQUENTLY: Lift, carry, push, pull, twist, and move materials weighing 10-24 lbs. while sorting, folding, boxing, and organizing garments.

OCCASIONALLY: Walk, sit, balance, bend, reach above shoulder height, and lift or carry materials weighing 25-50 lbs.

NEVER: Climb, crawl, or lift/carry materials over 50 lbs. as an essential function of the role.
