SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
As a Leather Sewer at Chrome Hearts, your role is pivotal in the crafting of our high-quality apparel and accessories, ensuring they meet our exacting standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Material Preparation: Methodically organize and sort materials to prepare them for crafting.
  • Machine Setup: Skillfully set up the sewing machine by changing needles, securing attachments, and ensuring it's in perfect working order.
  • Quality Control: Thoroughly inspect materials for any flaws or imperfections, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Sewing Expertise: Seamlessly stitch materials together using a variety of sewing machines, guiding the fabric with precision.
  • Machine Maintenance: Regularly monitor machine performance, detect and address malfunctions, and adjust settings as needed to maintain optimal output.
  • Hand Finishing: Employ hand-sewing and ironing techniques when necessary to achieve the desired quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Continuously inspect the finished product to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship.
  • Equipment Care: Ensure the proper functioning of equipment by performing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, and promptly addressing any issues or repairs.
  • Material Handling: Organize and replenish spools of thread, cord, or other materials on machine spindles.
  • Versatility: Display proficiency in sewing and be open to cross-training on other machinery to broaden your skill set.
