Job description

As an Alterations Associate, your unique skills contribute to our reputation as America's Leading Department Store. You have the opportunity to work with customers as well as execute a variety of alterations, like hemming of jeans and pants.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own the customer experience - greet people sincerely, be friendly and thank every customer
  • Measure, fit, mark, and pin garments according to customer specifications
  • Disassemble, sew and/or reassemble garments according to measurements taken during fitting - use iron and steamer to prepare garments for customers
  • Repair damaged or defective merchandise
  • Garment work may range from basic to moderately difficult sewing/alteration procedures
  • Maintain a clean department and work area

Candidates must be professionally competent in all basic and some advanced alterations.
