Position Information
Job Title Global Admissions Specialist Position Summary
The Global Admissions Specialist works as a member of the Graduate and Global Team in support of admission of both international undergraduate, international graduate and domestic graduate
students. Responsibilities include managing, processing, and evaluating admission documents,
maintaining consistent communication with prospective and active students, while providing
administrative support to the populations that the department serves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process, manage, file, and update applicant records in the CRM system accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO), issuing I-20's and ensuring compliance with SEVP regulations.
  • Communicate with and support students throughout the enrollment funnel through international admissions inbox, telephone, and in person.
  • Serve as counselor for undergraduate international students, assisting with registration outreach
  • Monitor and resolve data integrity issues on an ongoing basis; perform audits across the admissions funnel
  • Collaborate with team for student orientation and associated events
  • Collaborate with team for recruitment opportunities and outreach targeting international and graduate student populations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Graduate and Global Recruitment
Education, Certifications and/or Licenses
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college
Experience
  • Experience in international admissions, international compliance, enrollment management, or related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with team members
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships
  • Must have expert written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and comfort with use of Slate CRM or related technology preferred
  • Knowledge of SEVP regulations and experience as a DSO preferred
