Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jewelry Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting diamonds and colored gemstones in a variety of jewelry styles, including engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, pendants, and custom pieces. This position requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
  • Set diamonds and gemstones using prong, bezel, channel, pavé, and other setting techniques.
  • Prepare jewelry for stone setting by cutting seats and adjusting mountings.
  • Inspect stones and jewelry for quality, security, and alignment.
  • Tighten, repair, and replace loose or damaged stones.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all pieces meet company standards.
  • Work closely with jewelers and designers on custom projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workbench and tools.
  • Handle jewelry with care and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Previous jewelry setting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of various stone-setting techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work under magnification.
  • Experience with fine jewelry and precious metals is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
