  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

We provide our customers with full-service support-from black-box design to highly engineered composites, TPEs, TPOs, and specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Die Setter to join our team on 3rd shift. The Die Setter is responsible for machine set-ups on both primary and secondary equipment, including scheduled and unscheduled changes. This role is critical to maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mold changes according to the production schedule, including emergency changes.
  • Set up die functions (watering, knockout, hot runner, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
  • Repair fluid or air leaks relating to dies.
  • Handle die insert changes, pulling/resetting die halves for repair, and loading/unloading die trucks.
  • Maintain the organization of die storage and die-setting supplies.
  • Complete initial shooting of die sets when required.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork.
  • Follow OSHA, safety rules, and all USF policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Previous die setting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow production schedules and instructions.
  • Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Lift and lower objects up to 35 lbs frequently.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and crouch as needed.
  • Work in environments with moving mechanical parts, heat, vibration, and moderate noise.
