What is a setter?

Setters are professionals who are responsible for scheduling appointments or meetings between potential clients and sales representatives. They typically work in industries like sales, real estate, or marketing, making initial contact with leads and qualifying them before passing them on to closers or sales teams. Their main goal is to ensure a steady stream of qualified prospects for the sales process, helping to increase conversion rates and efficiency. Setters often use phone calls, emails, or social media to reach out to potential customers and set up appointments.

How does a setter typically collaborate with sales representatives to drive results?

Setters play a crucial role in the sales process by qualifying leads and scheduling appointments for sales representatives. They work closely with the sales team, providing detailed notes and background information to ensure a smooth handoff and maximize the chances of closing deals. Setters often communicate regularly with sales reps to update them on lead status, feedback, and any changes needed in outreach strategies. This collaborative approach helps improve conversion rates and overall team performance.
