The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University invites applications for a Full-Time Lecturer position in Mathematics to start in August 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• The Department offers undergraduate majors in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Financial Mathematics; minors in Computer Science and Mathematics, and an undergraduate minor and a graduate certificate program (with the Department of Psychology) in Data Visualization and Analysis.
• Teaching responsibilities will include mathematics courses at all undergraduate levels.
• Duties also involve performing service to the Department.
• Applicants must understand and be willing to support the Seton Hall University Catholic mission.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics is a requirement and must be completed by the start of employment (no later than August 2026).
• Proficiency in using mathematical software and technology is highly desired.
Desired Qualifications:
• A minimum of three years teaching experience at the college level.
• Experience in teaching Calculus-based Statistics is highly desired.
Salary Range:
$51,335-$65,000
