Job description

9:15 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. (3 ¾ Hours)

Monday through Friday, when school is in session and lunch is served. (Hours may vary with workload.)

VACANCY DATE: May 18, 2026


DUTIES: Cashiers during lunch using P.O.S. (Point of Sale) System. Maintains and cleans area. Completes end of day cashier paper work. Any other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.


REQUIREMENTS: Job requires good communication skills including writing and reading abilities. A successful applicant will need to communicate with students, staff, administration and the public. Some computer knowledge helpful and must be willing to learn P.O.S. Cashiering System. Applicant must be able to push, pull or lift items weighing at least 35 pounds. You will be required to attend any job-related training as provided by the School Nutrition Dept. During probation, must be able to pass a Food Handler Test with a passing score.
