Job description

East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy:ย  Instructional Assistant

Building:ย  East Noble Academy - East Noble Academy is a small alternative school setting serving some students in grades 6-8, but mostly 9-12. The Instructional Assistant supports students with coursework, organization, behavior expectations, and activities. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working with teenagers, can stay calm and consistent, and is willing to be part of a small team.

Position will begin in August 2026 with the start of the 2026-27 school year
7 hours per day when school is in session.ย  Starting pay is $16.69 per hour.
This position is offered medical, dental, vision insurance and Indiana Public Retirement Fund.
Instructional Assistance
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Work with students one-on-one, in small groups, or in classroom settings to provide academic and behavioral support.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Monitor and document student progress and assist in implementing intervention plans.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Supervise students in assigned areas, ensuring safety and promoting a positive learning environment.
Professional Responsibilities
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Attend all required training sessions and apply training within the classroom and Pathways program.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with school policies.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Communicate effectively and regularly with students, staff, and program partners.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Participate in team planning sessions and collaborate with staff to support the building's goals.
Candidate must have one of the following:
Minimum of 60 college credits
Associate's Degree
Paraprofessionalย certification
Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification testย 
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with middle and high school students in educational or professional settings.
Familiarity with career-focused programs, internships, or community partnerships is a plus.
