Job description

True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Rochester, NY. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Senior Housekeeper.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas.
  • Assist with the removal and cleaning of soiled linens.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
  • Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Required certifications and training for TIPS, ServSafe, health department and other required organizations according to local codes.
  • Experience in hospitality is a plus.
