Job description

Overview

IST Management Services is seeking an Office Services Assistant to join the Norwalk team! The Office Services Assistant will be responsible for providing Corporate support services on-site in a professional team environment. Ideal candidates will display an excellent customer service mindset, possess strong technical skills, are willing to train, and are ready to grow in their office services career! Prior related office or customer service experience is preferred.

Position Details:

This direct hire role is full time and performs office services work. No nights, no weekends. Business professional dress code and standards are required.

Hourly Compensation: $17.50-18.00 USD per hour, DOE

Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, 401k, Paid Time Off, 7 paid holidays, and Bonus Incentives

Hours of Operations: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating mailing, copy and office equipment
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Shipping & Receiving; Order and maintain all Office Supplies
  • Pick-up and deliver mail, parcel and print requests to customers
  • Respond to emails from staff - must have solid writing skills-good punctuation
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Adhere to all safety procedures; Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have access to reliable transportation to reach locations not on public transportation routes
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds, walking and standing for extended periods of time
