ServiceNow Project Manager
Description
The ServiceNow Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of all ServiceNow Projects that from the Develops and/or oversees plans for automated data processing systems from project inception to close-out. Analyzes information to be processed. Defines and analyzes problems and develop Project Initiation Phase to Project Closeout.
The Project Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to discuss Project prioritization and resourcing. Once the Project has been approved the Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all project kick-off meetings, internal meetings with the assigned Business Analyst and Development Team to start the Project Initiation Phase. The Project Manager will be utilizing ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Portfolio Project Management (PPM), Demand Management, Agile 2.0 and Test Management 2.0. The ServiceNow Project Manager should have high level knowledge of Generative AI and ServiceNow Now Assist to be able to support AI projects that will be in implementation in the near future.
The ServiceNow Project Manager will be responsible to remove blockers and ensure that the team has all the support required to move forward on project tasks. The Project Manager will review tasks and risks with the team and provide coaching and guidance to Project Team Members. The Project Manager will lead all Project Task Risk Meetings and ensure that risks are mitigated and work to address any additional concerns with the team.
The Project Manager will support the Program Manager to develop business plans and continual service improvements, support with corporate initiatives and ensure that there is constant collaboration on staffing, team member status, project status, customer support, service and process improvements. The ServiceNow Project Manager serves as a back-up to the ServiceNow Program Manager.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Scrum Master Certification
  • ServiceNow Admin, SPM, PPM, Agile 2.0 Training or Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Required Skills
  • Experience in an Agile Development Project Management
  • Experience with working on large ServiceNow projects or program teams of 20+ members
  • Expert in working in Agile Development Teams and knowledge of all agile development phases
  • Understand high level the Business Process Analyst role and can lead and support Business Process Analysts
  • Expert in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Manager (SPM) Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Demand Management, Agile 2.0 and Test 2.0.
  • Experienced leading agile project teams through the agile development phases and target timeline
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to ensure that teams are completing tasks and projects are progressing through the timelines on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Ability to Manager 5-10 projects at a time, project range in size depending on level of effort.
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • A team player that is a leader but also supportive to the project team in providing support
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong writing skills and experience in developing plans such as a Communications Plan, User Guides, Project/Program Manager Plans, Training Plans and etc.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, ITAM (SAM/HAM Pro), Employee Center Portal, Now Assist and Knowledge Management.
  • Serve as a back-up Scrum Master and back-up to Program Manager when needed
  • Required Clearance: Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance for this role
