Job Description:

The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for ServiceNow Design, Configuration, Customization, and Implementation at DFPS following established industry standards and best practices. This role is also responsible for the following:

  • Takes responsibility for overall architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the ServiceNow platforms
  • As a senior technical member of the team, deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a quality assurance capacity for all project deliverables
  • Experienced in Service Now implementations which span ITIL, ITSM and security/regulatory disciplines. Implementation experience of Strategic and Project Portfolio management (SPM & PPM).
  • Provide High Level Design and specifications for ServiceNow implementation
  • Design and implementation:
    • Various application modules in ServiceNow
    • Integrations between ServiceNow and other 3rd party enterprise applications e.g. Azure Active Directory etc
    • Configuration of ServiceNow to automate internal ITIL/ITSM processes
    • User Provisioning process that integrates with internal and external systems
    • ServiceNow security architecture
  • Provide directions and architecture to integrate with application in place that are custom built and COTS and SaaS products
  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign working with the Project Manager
  • Work with business office to enhance the business process with ServiceNow work process and tools
  • Understand how different ServiceNow modules interact to ensure that configuration done in one area is not negatively impacting other areas
  • Understand the ServiceNow table structures and data model
  • Have done Customization of ServiceNow configurations, including custom scripts
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the project
