Scope of Services
Our client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Data Architect/Manager to support the EAS ServiceNow Platform Sustainment project within the ServiceNow Platform Data Practice.
The Senior Data Manager will be responsible for leading ServiceNow data management initiatives, supporting enterprise data architecture, data integration, reporting, analytics, and data governance activities across the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and manage ServiceNow Platform Data Management initiatives.
• Apply extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
• Design and support ServiceNow data architecture and ensure efficient data management practices.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions using RESTful APIs, Web Services, JDBC, MID Server, Import Sets, and Transformation Maps for loading data from multiple sources.
• Work with integration technologies including ServiceNow Integration Hub, SailPoint, and MuleSoft.
• Design and implement data models within the ServiceNow platform while following best practices for scalability, performance, and maintenance of complex data structures.
• Design and develop complex reports and dashboards across ServiceNow platform workstreams using Performance Analytics, Reporting, and the native ServiceNow reporting engine.
• Lead data governance activities and provide technical direction and mentorship to junior team members.
• Apply ITIL best practices and ensure alignment with ServiceNow platform standards.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, peers, and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum eight (8) years of combined experience working with the ServiceNow platform, enterprise data management, and data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including:
o Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
o IT Service Management (ITSM)
o IT Operations Management (ITOM)
o IT Asset Management (ITAM)
o Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
• In-depth understanding of ServiceNow Data Architecture.
• Experience with ServiceNow data integration techniques, including:
o RESTful APIs
o Web Services
o JDBC
o MID Server
o Import Sets
o Transformation Maps
• Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, SailPoint, and MuleSoft.
• Experience designing and implementing data models within the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow reporting tools, including Performance Analytics and native reporting capabilities.
• Experience with Data governance policies and standards, managed the full data lifecycle- Managing CMDB data, Ensuring CI Items remain accurate , managing data imports and data cleansing, maintaining data relationships in ServiceNow, Implementing Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards, monitoring CMDB health and data quality, establishing governance processes for data maintenance
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework and ServiceNow implementation best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
