About This Role

Join the team at Bike Mart, where our Service Writers are the first point of contact for customers entering our service department.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, performing thorough inspections of their bikes, gathering essential information about their riding habits, and recommending necessary services.

We also look to our Service Writers to complete simple repairs while customers wait.


What You'll Do

Provide top-notch customer service by greeting and engaging with clients

Conduct thorough Bike Mart Multi Point Inspections on all bikes brought in for service

Collect essential information from customers, including details about their bikes and riding habits

Efficiently enter customer data into our Point of Sale system

Schedule repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner

Perform basic repairs to keep customers riding safely and efficiently


Requirements

Service Writers should have the following-

Excellent communication skills and great attention to detail

Ability to think on their feet in fast-paced environments

Sales skills and the ability to upsell and cross-sell products and services

Working knowledge of bicycles and their maintenance

Customer service skills and a passion for delivering top-notch experiences
