Service Writer - Customer Support RepresentativeDay Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm

Our Team is currently looking for a Service Writer Customer Support Representative to keep up our level of commitment to customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Retail focus - Customer Relationship
  • Solicit the sale of new or additional services
  • Strong Data Entry Skills
  • Utilizes a computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in the shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims.
  • Communicating with customers in person, over the phone, and using a computer
  • Handle/resolve service-related concerns

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years experience in Diesel/Auto/Parts field REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A diesel technician background is strongly encouraged
  • ASE certifications are strongly encouraged
  • A Driver's License is required
  • CDL is a Plus
  • Ability to create professional relationships with customers
  • Ability to stay self-motivated

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use their hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with their hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
  • Must be able to read and write. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
