mxdwn is seeking contributors to join our Music Newswire team. We are looking for strong writers that has a passion for music. The ideal candidate is capable of presenting news stories in an informative and captivating way, as well as being organized and prompt. Newswire writers often tackle stories such as new album announcements, festival lineups, new music alerts, as well as stories about music industry news. The Music Newswire position is an online and remote opportunity which does not require travel. Applicants must be willing to learn and work as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Writers will be given 5 stories to complete one day per week
- Writers must be able to work under pressure and within time constraints
- Writers must of have had previous experience in music journalism
- Writers must knowledge of WordPress
