Job description

Description Our Service Center is looking for a Service Technician to join the team. If you are looking for a role where you get to see a wide variety of vehicles and equipment and have a crucial hand in the betterment of our community, you'll want to check out this position. Members of our Service Center are responsible for changing and fixing rubber tires on a variety of automotive and construction equipment, delivering fuel to city equipment, and performing routine service and maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements Experience, Education, and Training One year of experience in servicing automotive or construction equipment with oils and lubricants; performing minor mechanical repairs on automotive or construction equipment; installing and repairing tires; or any combination of these. PREFERRED Experience in both vehicle maintenance and mounting automotive or construction tires.

Licensing/Certification Must possess a valid driver's license; Must obtain and maintain a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement within the following guidelines: pass written portion of exam within 90 days of employment and skills test portion within the probationary period; ASE certification is desirable.
