Job description

ESTIMATOR (STRUCTURAL)
Our client is a top structural steel fabrication facility that services various chemical, petrochemical, and other industries in Houston Area.
They are looking for afull-time, direct hireStructural Estimatorto join their team with compensation at$25-$30/hr.
This position is located in theManvel Area (77578) and does require onsite attendance.
The Expectations:

  • Review project contract details including drawings, specs, proposals, etc.

  • Prepare quotes dependent on both MATERIAL and LABOR.

  • Review outside vendor pricing to prepare accurate project quotes.

  • Confirm shop drawings and plans for project alignment.

  • Assist with creating project phase and schedules for production.

  • Maintain schedule to meet deadline according to project quote.

  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure project completion and success.

  • Work with engineers, sales/estimating and shop regarding supervisors instructions
