What is a service sales representative?

A Service Sales Representative is a professional responsible for selling services rather than physical products to customers or businesses. They often work in industries like maintenance, IT, utilities, or business solutions, and their role involves identifying client needs, presenting service offerings, and closing sales. Service Sales Representatives also maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this position.

To thrive as a Service Sales Representative, you need strong sales acumen, customer relationship management, and a good understanding of the services offered, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
